1. "Way of the World" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 4:38

Style: Folk Rock

Description: Life is so huge . . . so diverse . . . the possibilities are literally infinite. What's the best way to sort it all out and carve out a little niche of our own?

Lyric Excerpt:

Now it's happening every moment, far too big to see
It's all too much . . . to do it all, so passion is the key
It's a question of perspective, alive to pick and choose
It's where we aim our focus that brings it all into view

It's just the way of the world, It's just the way of the world
It's really nothing . . . personal, It's just the way of the world

2. "Trash Our Treasures" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 2:53

Style: Soft Rock / New Country

Description: Call it human nature . . . or divine folly . . . or simply a growth process, but people seem to have a history of awarding seemingly insignificant details with places of prominence in our lives, while ignoring or even destroying the most important aspects. Physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, this curious pattern remains the same.

Lyric Excerpt:

Like moonlight on the water
It shimmers and it shines
It glimmers like a ray of hope
Behind the battle lines
But seeing little in the dark
We resort to desperate measures
Groping blind, we treasure our trash
And then, we trash our treasures . . . we trash our treasures

3. "Don't Tell Me No" written by Janey Kenyon, Jeannie Robertson and JoAnn Molloy - 3:11

Style: New Country

Description: Just don't do it. It's better that way . . . for both of us!

Lyric Excerpt:

I’m spreadin’ my wings and I’m learnin’ how to fly
Wanna do it my way, ain’t gonna to justify
Don’t tell me no, no don’t cha tell me no
You might as well hand me an engraved invitation
Don’t tell me no

4. "Wrap Your Wings Around" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:57

Style: Contemporary Folk

Description: Some call it intuition; others call it inner guidance. Whatever it is, once you begin to rely on it, it "sounds" mighty quiet when it seems to stop. Maybe it doesn't really stop . . . maybe it just changes, and it's up to us to tune into it again . . . and again . . . and again.

Lyric Excerpt:

All the little details of my life showed up on time
So why would I be wondering, it's different this time
Listening for whispering, a still small voice within
Please, a little louder, cause I'm still listenin'

Draw a little closer, and wrap your wings around
Sing a little louder, so I can hold the sound
Cradle me in tenderness, and rock me to slow down
Draw a little closer, and wrap your wings around

5. "Flying in the Sea" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:27

Style: Reggae

Description: Born at Coco View Scuba Diving Resort in Roatan Honduras, this song celebrates the wonders of the sea. Imagine the joy and freedom felt by dolphins and whales frolicking in the waves. We caught a glimpse of that feeling while scuba diving . . . and love it!

Lyric Excerpt:

Swimming with the dolphins, playfully
Glide along with the eagle rays, gracefully
Tag along with the turtles, all day . . . hey, hey
Flying free in the deep blue sea, down Caribbean way

I’m flying, like a dream
Flying, flying free
What a world of wonder, wonderful fantacy
When I’m flying . . . flying in the sea

6. "This Perfect Moment" written by Tupelo and Janey Kenyon - 3:22

Style: Soft Contemporary Folk

Description: A wedding song written for our niece Malia and her husband, Ridge Miller. The moment of marriage shines bright with love, hope and unlimited potential. What a blessing it is to somehow capture that magical moment and be able to relive it at will throughout a lifetime.

Lyric Excerpt:

On this day, I can feel forever
On this day, I'm right here, right now
On this day, in this perfect moment
Here's my love, this is my vow

I will keep this moment in my heart
As we stand here together, our new start
I will hold this love for you
Shining bright my whole life through

7. "Low Maintenance Relationship" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:12

Style: Rhythm and Blues / Light Rock

Description:One of the most important things to learn, and one of the most difficult, is the importance of creating good relationships. Life seems to be all about relationships . . . to our friends, families, lovers, and to our creator. There's always room for improvement.

Lyric excerpt:

Give me a low maintenance relationship
One that carries on from right where you left it
Don’t fuss about it, no need to nurture
It‘s a low maintenance relationship

8. "Compass Spin" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:24

Style: Contemporary folk balad

Description:Inspired by a fascinating book called, "Fingerprints of the Gods", this is a look at the timeline and possible repeating pattern far beyond our usual field of reference. What would life on earth look like if our perspective allowed us to see centuries passing in the wink of an eye?

Lyric Excerpt:

The scholars thought the ancient myths were merely fairy tales
And the buildings built beyond our skills were tombs for arrogant males
They thought they understood it happened once, but never again
When cosmic forces shook the earth, and made the compass

9. "Deep Sea Blue" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 5:07

Style: Light rock

Description: No matter where our travels take us, it's always exhillerating to return to the sea. This is a simple love song to the wonders of nature in general, and mother ocean in particular.

Lyric Excerpt:

When the sunset caresses the eye, with every bold color that splashes the sky
All the way to the line where the sea and the sky collide
Stars by the billion shine bright, it's only natural for hearts to take flight
Like seagulls who make it look easy to soar and glide

It makes you feel so free and grateful just to be in mother nature's majesty
It's nature at her best, cause I have seen the rest, and nothing's like the deep blue sea
So I keep flowing back on the deep blue sea, the great unknown
On the deep sea blue, like coming home.
On the deep sea blue

10. "It'll Be All Right Now" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 4:07

Style: Contemporary Folk

Description: It's one thing to understand intellectually that the thoughts we think mold our experience, and another thing to live every moment as if it really is a basic law of nature. Sometimes a paradigm shift can happen in a single moment, but this one has is taking me a little longer to put into deliberate daily practice.

Lyric Excerpt:

Sometimes my thoughts are little, even when I think I’m thinkin’ abundant
Wondering why not, instead of what I want
I want it, yes I do . . . Oh, yes I do . . . Or maybe not
The balance of my thought reflects exactly what I’ve got

We have done so much, with so little, for so long . . . (Before long)
We can do everything, with absolutely nothing forever

11. "Miracle in Disguise" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 4:20

Style: Light Rock

Description: Synchronicity is such a positive and hopeful idea, it begs the question, "Why not actively look for it and even expect it, as long as it feels good?" Still, is it real? Or, wishful thinking? Or, could it be simply whatever we decide it is?

Lyric Excerpt:

Such a gentle whispering, barely there at all
If it was clear, for cryin' out loud, it'd be easier to make the call
Is it marching to a phantom drummer, imagination or lies
Or the leading edge of pure creation, a miracle in disguise

I'm counting on a miracle, expecting a surprise
Insight right between the eyes . . . or a miracle in disguise

12. "May You Have Joy" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 4:40

Style: Contemporary Folk Rock

Description: Have you ever felt a warm appreciation for someone in your life, and just wanted to wish them well? What do you say? Here's wishing you well? Cheers? Best Rergards? I asked myself if I could be a little more specific, and this song emerged.

Lyric Excerpt:

May your actions make a difference, and your conversations matter
May your promises be easy, and your praise sincerely flatter
May you be an inspiration, a lighthouse on the shore
May your contributions make the world better than before

May the cosmic wind fill your sail, toward your homeward shore
May soul love the adventure, and spirit help you soar
May you catch on fast the first time, slow to quit and quick to start
May you have joy . . . a peaceful mind . . . and a hopeful heart

13. "I'm Goin' Fishin'" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:16

Style: Contemporary Folk

Description: Sometimes, you've got to just take a little time for yourself . . . to recharge and regenerate. The zen of fly-fishing has always worked wonders for me. This is a tribute to my grand-fater, J.V. Harris, who taught me how and gave me a wonderful gift that has kept on giving for a lifetime.

Lyric Excerpt:

Gonna feel so peaceful, on the water again
Gonna stare in the distance, drinkin’ it in
Time slows down ‘a fishin’, and goin’ slow is a good skill
And once in awhile when I’m doin’ it right, time stands still

I’m goin’ fishin’ in the mornin’ . . . Yeah, I’m goin’ fishin’ all day
I’m goin’ fishin’, time to quit wishin’ . . . So I’m goin’ fishin’ today

14. "Who is the Watcher" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 6:02

Style: Folk Rock

Description: Inspired by the book, "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle, this song was written to remind me that life . . . all of life . . . occurs in this present moment. The title asks an age-old question which also feels worth my careful pondering. Ideas like these, turned round and round, make the inside of my head seem bigger . . . and that's bound to be a good thing.

Lyric Excerpt:

It’s not about a stepping stone to somewhere over there
But the step itself, this one now, presently aware
A journey of a million steps won’t happen overnight
Awaken from this dream of time, and let this step take flight

Who is the watcher, who sits in the stillness and knows
And who is the looker, who notices the king wears no clothes
Who is the seer, who sees beyond the mind
And who is the seeker, who’ll find ... The grand design

15. "Life is Too Important to Be Taken Seriously" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:17

Style: Bluegrass

Description: This is just plain fun . . . an unlikely love song and reminder of the importance of making it a point to deliberately live life in joy, reverance, and with a light-hearted spirit. A good sence of humor always seems to come in handy too!

Lyric Excerpt:

Right away, I knew . . . You’re the one, and I am too
Two of a kind, we get around . . . A couple ‘a lovers, a couple ‘a clowns
Cause life is too important to be taken seriously
Life is too important to be taken seriously

16. "Hand in Hand and Heart to Heart" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 3:46

Style: Contemporary Folk / New Country

Description: A wedding song written for our friends, David Ruthstrom and Jeannie Robertson, another professional touring musical duo. If this song sounds like it applies to us too, that's because it does . . . we've met very few couples who have lived on the road together playing music for as many years as we have. Like David and Jeannie, we realize what a rare and special priviledge this lifestyle is . . . and we still love it! Like David says, "You and I drew a good lot in life." We never take it for granted, but continually re-create it on a daily basis looking forward with imagination and gratitude. Like any lifestyle, it has it's ups and downs but overall, there's not another life we'd rather live.

Lyric Excerpt:

You and I do, love our life on the road
Choosin' music, two for the show
Or maybe music chooses us, but we're playin' along
Singing together, our life is a song

Together we are music, you're my counterpart
Singing together down the highway
Today we stand together, whatever comes our way
And we're still hand in hand and heart to heart

17. "A Heartbeat in Eternity's Highway" written by Tupelo Kenyon - 4:46

Style: Light rock

Description: The concept of time has always been a fascinating enigma to me. In the grand scheme of things, what's the difference between a single moment and all of eternity? What's the point of reference? What's the point of getting worked up over any of this? Besides the fun of waxing philosophically, this song also provided me with the opportunity to rhyme the word "parenthesis", and that doesn't happen every day!

Lyric Excerpt:

Is this a day of rest that makes me feel my best
Or just another yawn from wrong conclusions drawn
To put it off again until I’m ready then
How do I know . . . I’ll see another dawn

How can we wait again another day
Now that we know how fast they always slip away
Our little world’s our emphasis, this life is a parenthesis
A heartbeat in eternity’s highway
